Having already visited several trade fairs of the all about automation series over the course of the year, we will also be at the aaa in Chemnitz from 18th to 19th September to present our innovative, wireless and TÜV-certified M2Smart® HMI system for the safe and secure operation of machines and systems to regional trade visitors.

Wireless and versatile HMI system!
The mobile and wireless M2Smart® HMI10 from ACD Elektronik is a versatile full-touch operating device with a 10-inch display, including emergency stop and enabling switch. To establish a secure wireless connection between the M2Smart® HMI10 and the machine to be op-erated, a gateway, our M2Smart® Gateway, is connected to the machine’s safety PLC. The transmission of safety-relevant data between the Gateway and the operating device is functionally secure via Bluetooth short-range radio. By securing the Bluetooth connection using the black channel method, data security can be guaranteed even with mobile and wireless data transmission and a performance level d can be achieved. After a simple pairing via NFC, the M2Smart® HMI10 is connected to the M2Smart® Gateway and the machine can be operated. The open HMI system is controller-independent, suitable for a wide range of applications and can be used to operate a wide variety of machines thanks to its mobility and modular design. With the M2Smart® HMI10, the employee only has one device as a personal device and can therefore control large parts of the machinery.
