MOVITRAC® advanced is a compact frequency inverter from SEW-EURODRIVE with a configurable range of functions for a wide range of automation tasks. However, with the use of the frequency converter, e.g. B save energy with the standard standby mode.
When machines and systems are not in use, it is worth putting them in safe standby mode, especially when it comes to short-term interruptions such as weekends, production breaks or free shifts. The standard standby function in the MOVITRAC® advanced frequency inverters from SEW-EURODRIVE reduces energy consumption and enables the machine or system to be restarted immediately.
At the same time, the frequency converter optimizes the magnetic flux in the motor, which can reduce magnetization losses by up to 70%. This measurably reduces the heating of the motor.
Thanks to its compact design and optimized use of materials, valuable resources are already saved during production. In addition, at the end of the product life cycle, the materials used can be separated so that they can be returned to the recycling circuit.
MOVITRAC® advanced is part of the modular automation system MOVI-C®. Like all devices from the modular system, the device has the appropriate interfaces, which enables vertical digitization from the control level to the drive. So e.g. B. an automatic commissioning or the reading of sensors close to the engine can be realized. By permanently recording the system parameters, improved maintenance measures can be planned and downtimes minimized – condition monitoring and predictive maintenance become possible. Automatic startup also saves time and reduces errors – the preconfigured MOVIKIT® software modules also support users accordingly.
