At Heltek, solid devices with very different service lives are retrofitted and then come onto the market like new. The machine builder from the north is a specialist in new and used machines for butcher shops and canteen kitchens.
Sustainability is on everyone’s lips and Heltek is right on trend here. “It is definitely worth making used machines functional again, preparing them thoroughly and equipping them with modern technology. Raw materials and energy are expensive, and the somewhat older machines with their massive components often offer the perfect basis for an absolutely high-quality retrofit product,” says Edip Kaska, electronics technician at Heltek Maschinenbau.
Smal high-end devices
Even with meat processing machines, start and stop is no longer enough. In order to be able to achieve consistent quality in production, various sensors measure speeds, temperatures and fill levels. The setting options for regulating the machines and adapting them to the situation are correspondingly varied.
Instead of many controllers and buttons, smooth, compact touch panels are pioneering here, which are tailored to the needs in terms of programming and design. “From now on, the KN Controls Basic touch panels from Kraus & Naimer will be used on our Kilia machines. The previously installed devices have been discontinued and with the Basic we were able to find an HMI that fills this gap perfectly in terms of performance and budget,” says Kaska.
Programs and recipes on demand
As is known from many kitchen machines in private use, in this case the production companies can store predefined programs and recipes or enter factors such as motor speeds individually. With the pre-installed JMobile software on the Kraus & Naimer (…)
